Who books the lift for my move?
Most buildings require residents to book the lift through the building manager or body corporate. Let us know your booked time slots at both buildings and we'll plan the move around them.
What if my furniture doesn't fit in the lift?
Many large items can be taken apart to fit. If something still won't fit, it may need to go via the stairs, which can take extra time. Measure your largest pieces beforehand and let us know, so we can plan the best way to move them.
Do you move units without a lift?
Yes. We regularly move units and apartments with stair access only. Let us know how many floors and flights of stairs there are, so we can bring the right crew for the job.
What if the truck can't fit in the loading dock?
Let us know the loading dock height limit when you get in touch. We'll recommend the right truck size, or plan for parking in a nearby loading zone if needed.
What if the truck has to park far from the lift?
The distance between the truck and the lift makes a big difference to the time your move takes, so please let us know about it when you get in touch. If the distance is long, adding a ute to your job can reduce the total time of your move, as it can often park closer to the lift or fit in the loading dock and shuttle items to the truck. We'll let you know if a ute is the best option for your building.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least one to two weeks ahead, and as soon as your lift booking is confirmed. Saturdays and the end of the month fill up quickly.
